Werriberri Trail Rides Pty. Ltd. is a family concern run by Kathy Tucker and her four children. All rides are accompanied by experienced guides. Megalong features some of Australia's most beautiful scenery, cool streams, forests and a variety of wildlife. Wonderful country to explore on horseback. All horses are graded to suit the ability of the riders. We cater for all ages and abilities.

Activities will include Horse riding, grooming, bathing, show preparation, attending to injuries (if there is any). All horse related activities swimming in the creek if weather permits.

Dressage or Jumping lessons can be arranged through EFA qualified coaches. These have to be booked in well in advance. Costs vary for specialized coaching.

Standard rate ( not EFA coach ) start at $120per person per 24hr period.

This includes Breakfast (toast or weet-bix), Morning tea (generally fruit) Lunch (sandwiches), Afternoon tea (generally fruit) and Dinner (plenty of whats going for hungry active kids)

Children and teens will need to pack clothes that can take the rough stuff, riding boots (we have some sizes available) old sneakers or equivalent for swimming in. Clothing to suit all weather conditions as it is the mountains.

Accommodation is in the shed at Werriberri, Girls/Boys separate rooms, Double bunks. All facilities are available just a bit like camping with a shower and electricity.

Children must be 8yrs or over and have a keen interest in horses.
