Tranquil Vale is a working vineyard on 25 acres nestled in a bend of the Hunter River. We offer well-appointed 2 bedroom self-contained cottages in a friendly and peaceful atmosphere with stunning views of the Hunter River valley. Wanting a one night stay? Try our loft. Tranquil Vale is a place where you can totally wind down and relax ... enjoy your complimentary bottle of wine on the verandah ... read a book ... OR ... have a game of tennis ... swim in the pool. Bring your bikes or borrow ours. Taste some wines in our friendly cellar door. Meet the winemaker. You will not have to leave here. We are also a 10 minute drive to cafes, restaurants and cellar doors of Lovedale Road, and a few more minutes to Pokolbin. CottagesFloor to ceiling windows and French doors open from the living area on to the verandah with spectacular views over the vineyard and the Hunter River flats to the hills beyond. Each cottage has an open plan well-equipped kitchen, dining area and lounge room. There is reverse-cycle air conditioning, log fire, CD/DVD player and TV. Two spacious double bedrooms comfortably accommodate a family or two couples. One bedroom has a queen bed and the other a king bed that can also be made into two singles. A third single can be added if required. The cottages have been architecturally designed with modern features but keeping the rural appeal of a country setting. Each has a two-car carport. The LoftThis is a spacious room with queen size bed, ensuite bathroom and a balcony overlooking the vineyards. There is reverse-cycle air conditioning, a bar fridge, tea and coffee making facilities, microwave oven, TV and CD/DVD system. Included in the tariff is a continental breakfast pack. |
