Mountain Biking is the perfect way to enjoy the beautiful Snowy Mountains. Whether it's the extreme adrenalin of the famous Thredbo downhill or a scenic ride on the cross country trails, South East MTB Co have bikes and trails to suit all riding types. We offer a full range of services including guided tours, mountain bike hire, instruction and a great range of retail gear. Our expert team is fully equipped to help you with any questions or queries you may have. Guided Bike Tours and InstructionYou can take a guided tour around the village, along the Pipeline and Bridle Loops, through the village, up through Crackenback Ridge and back around the golf course. Your guide will point out places of interest and show you where the local habitat hide out. This tour is suited to those that haven’t been on a bike for a while and don’t wish to tackle anything too extreme. We cater for beginners and intermediate, right through to advanced riders. View the ability guide to help you figure out which trail tour is best for you! Feel free to hire a bike and explore the village at your own pace if that’s what you would like to do. We can point you in the right direction. Cross CountryAt South East Mountain Biking Company we cater for all levels of riding ability. We have trails for all levels and also offer guided tours ranging from hardcore single track to easy level riding through snow gums and high country farmland. Our guides will take you to points of interest, teach you riding techniques and help make your biking adventure much more than just a great ride. Beginners can start off exploring the 7km of flat valley floor riding through varying terrain and trail types or if you want to ride hills, we’ve got some really big ones! Our tours and instruction also cater for Corporate Groups, Schools and Clubs with packages available. DownhillThredbo is famous for the legendry Thredbo Downhill. Qualified instructors offer group and individual lessons & clinics catering for total beginners to race ready and everything in between. The Thredbo Downhill is something you need to ride to believe it. Throw in the fact that this summer it gets a full upgrade and section changes and has 7 days a week chairlift access - it’s not far off downhill heaven. Chairlift tickets are sold separately or as part of lessons & clinics. Thredbo VillageThredbo is a stunning alpine village situated in the Kosciuszko National Park in New South Wales. Thredbo offers amazing scenery and natural beauties which are nestled amongst the cosy chalets, hotels, shops and cafes of the town. There is always heaps to do in Thredbo including, bobsledding, fly fishing, guided walks and of course mountain biking. |
