The historic village of Broke is situated on the banks of the Wollombi brook - dozing peacefully in the sun below the massive golden escarpment of Yellow Rock at the western end of the Brokenback Range and nestled on the edge of the World Heritage listed Yengo National Park.

Maranda Country House is a wonderful Australian Colonial Home surrounded by traditional Bull Nose Verandah. Maranda features a refreshing salt water pool and screened gazebo with a private 4 person spa and boasts some of the best views in the Hunter Valley. Maranda will sleep 4-13 people comfortably.

Bonn Abbey combines the coolness of stone with the warmth of timber and soaring cathedral ceilings, making it the perfect destination all year round. Beautifully furnished, Bonn Abbey can sleep 4-11 people, making it ideal for a group of friends or family, yet remaining intimate enough for smaller groups.

Maranda Country House is set on three acres and is a wonderful Australian Colonial Home with traditional Bull Nose Verandah to the front and rear. Maranda boasts a large refreshing pool and a private screened four person spa/hot tub as well as some of the best views in the Hunter Valley.

Maranda is located on the outskirts of the village of Broke on semi-rural land and next to Mount Eyre Vineyard and gives complete privacy. Maranda has polished timber floors, nine foot ceilings, a spacious lounge and a magnificent dining room which seats 14 comforatbly and has panoramic views of the local vineyards, hills and ranges. The reverse cycle air conditioning, ceiling fans and wood burning fire make this the perfect retreat all year around.  A fully equipped kitchen and a modern BBQ provide the means to be self sufficient so you can kick back with your favorite wine and enjoy the ambience.

Maranda can sleep 4-13 people comfortably. So if your group is large or small Maranda will weave her magic and transport you to a place of peace and tranquility that you will find hard to leave.
