Why Stay at the Art House???The Art House is a large home which can accommodate one person or up to 4 couples. The main area of the house has an open plan lounge/dining/kitchen with a large bedroom, walk in robe and en-suite. With the flick of a switch the ducted heating and air conditioning system keeps you warm in winter and cool in summer.
- For atmosphere and that cozy feeling there is also a slow combustion fire. The kitchen is fully equipped with all the utensils necessary, microwave, large double oven, fridge, dishwasher and most staples are supplied (i.e. Tea, coffee, sugar, condiments,) T.V. Radio, CD, DVD and Video player and a good supply of video movies and DVD's are included. The open plan living area leads out to a lovely covered deck where you can drink your wine and listen to the river, watch the birds or just read a good book. Firewood and BBQ area (gas BBQ) are below the deck.
- For people and families travelling together there is another large, bright bedroom with a full bathroom, laundry and breakfast nook. Each bed has quality linen, doonas, heating blankets and fat fluffy towels. There is also a loft on the second floor with another double bed and small TV for the extra visitors. An art studio is available on request on the top floor which has a futon bed to accommodate another two people.
- Two bikes are supplied for a jaunt around town. Being only an hour’s drive from Foster, Gloucester Tops or Barrington Tops, the Art House is a perfect location for exploring the area.
The fully self contained kitchen enables you to stay home and enjoy a romantic night by the fire. LCD TV and DVD library are supplied if the romance gets too much. The Art House is only 5 minutes drive or 10 minutes walk from the shops in the Gloucester village. In the photo the house looks like two buildings but in fact they are one and quite privately away from any other houses. Explore the Barrington Tops wilderness area, Gloucester Tops or go to the coast. All within 90 minutes drive from the House. Horseriding, fishing, canoeing, golf, bicycling, bush walks, goldmine tour, skydiving, gliding, cafe's, clubs and restaurants are all available locally. You don't have to leave your dog or cat at home, they can join you on your weekend retreat.
