Visit Featherdale Wildlife Park have a close encounter with the residents, all native Australian animals, are at their best. You can feed the kangaroos and wallabies, cuddle up close to a koala, see the wombats, Tasmanian Devils or visit the crocodile and many occupants including a vast Australian native bird collection, with cockatoos galahs etc. Perhaps take a short bushwalk. Watch out for noisy cockatoos. After about an hour or more we leave the park and enter the World Heritage Blue Mountains and after passing through some small towns and villages including the historic town of Richmond we arrive at the World Heritage Blue Mountains National Park Traverse through towering eucalypts, over mountain streams and deep into the bush. Explore surrounding countryside and enjoy amazing views into the valley below of the Wollomi Wilderness. Next we visit Mt Tomah Botanical Gardens and eat lunch surrounded by spectacular views.We visit lookouts and see the Grose Valley as well as the Jamieson Valley. Scenic World where you can enjoy a ride and a beautiful board walk at the bottom of a tropical valley. and the Three Sisters follow before returning via afternoon tea at Olympic Park.
