The Bega Cheese Heritage Centre

Come and taste the cheese that made Bega famous.

Bega Cheese was established by a group of dairy farmers in 1899 and continues to manufacture quality cheese products from the Bega Valley region. At the Bega Cheese Heritage Centre you can enjoy experience good old fashioned country hospitality.

The Heritage Centre offers visitors the chance to see how dairying has shaped the culture of our valley. While there you can enjoy homemade  meals and cakes at our café or sit on  the verandahs overlooking neighbouring pastures and enjoy a milkshake or icecream. The shop sells a range of cheese and deli goods as well as local products. We also have a large range of farm themed souvenirs and giftware.

We are now also home to the Bega Visitor Information Centre. Pick up brochures and information on the surrounding Sapphire Coast or plan your trip as we have an extensive range of brochures from NSW, Victoria and Australia wide. The Visitor Information Centre also sells Premier and Countrylink tickets.

Open 7 days a week, the staff at the Heritage Centre look forward to your visit.
